HOTEL COST CONTROLLER P.1

It's 3rd Jan 2015...I am in the mids of preparing all relevant report such as Inventory Closing, Cost Board, Journal Voucher (JV), Credit Out such as Officer Check (OC), etc...

A life as a Cost Controller doesn't seems much attraction to others or nobody bothers I should say...same like others in the Account & Finance related jobs. MONTH END CLOSING!!!!...more precisely the beginning or preparing the Profit & Loss Report....

Oh Yaa Hell!!!...

As I promised, let me elaborate a little bit further about Cost Control tasks and the eco system it attached with. Depends whether you are as a F&B CC or General CC. Your job would be more paramount if you are as a General CC, due to the loaded areas that you have to monitor. This merely because of Gen CC will have to look after all dept in lieu of their cost or expenses.

But basically, the COS or Cost Of Sales is generated by dividing the cost over revenue (%). Say you purchased item A for RM10 and sold at RM100, means the cost % will be 10 over 100 or 10%.
